Biodiesel, the renewable fuel made right here in Wisconsin, has been approved for use in most engines by machine manufacturers. Here are some facts:
- In September, Caterpillar, Inc, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of construction and mining equipment, approved the use of B20 (20% biodiesel and 80% conventional diesel) in their machine’s engines. - Case IH, headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, has approved the use of B5 in the engines of all machines they manufacture, as well as the use of B20 in over 90% of machines they produce.
