Making E15 available in Wisconsin would reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 200,000 tons
Analysis shows importance of Renewable Fuel Standard on air quality

A recent analysis found that replacing just half of the 2.4 billion gallons of regular E10 gas consumed in Wisconsin with E15 (gasoline with 15 percent ethanol blend) would eliminate 175,636 tons of CO2e emitted to our air every year (CO2e includes carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane). That’s the equivalent to taking about 37,000 passenger vehicles off the road in Wisconsin every year.

Export numbers from the Wisconsin Department of Trade, Agriculture and Consumer Protection show an 18 percent increase in ethanol exports from Wisconsin, totaling an export value of over $250 million dollars and driving Wisconsin’s export totals to an all time high.
