MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Bio Industry Alliance (WBIA) on Wednesday announced the addition of two new members to the organization: Oscar J. Boldt Construction and the Wisconsin Pipe Trades.

“The WBIA has been growing rapidly over the past several months to include members from every aspect of the Bio Industry,” said Alexander Samardzich, Chairman of the WBIA Executive Committee. “Quality contractors like Boldt and highly-trained labor unions like the Wisconsin Pipe Trades are critical partners in the creation of any bio fuels plant, and the WBIA is very proud to have the support of both organizations.”

Oscar J. Boldt Construction, with headquarters in Appleton, WI, is one of the nation’s premier construction firms, providing construction planning, design-build and general contracting services to a diverse group of customers in a variety of businesses and industries. Originally founded in 1889, Boldt has been the lead construction firm for bio fuels facilities across the country.

The Wisconsin Pipe Trades is a coalition of plumbers, steam fitters, and sprinkler fitters unions from every corner of Wisconsin. Each local Pipe Trades union is a member of the 110 year-old United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry (UA), assuring top-quality training and performance for all customers. The Wisconsin Pipe Trades has been instrumental in the construction of bio fuels facilities throughout Wisconsin.
